348th Night Fighter Patch

Formed in 1942, the 348th night fighter squadron was apart of the 481st night fighter operational training group based at Salinas Army Air Base in California. The 348th was the first dedicated night fighter training squadron in the JSAAF, training newly activated night fighter squadrons for combat rolls in the Pacific and China/Burma theaters of operations.
